Author/Chef Sara Foster

Mission Foods® and author/chef, Sara Foster, joined forces to promote the versatility of the tortilla and Foster’s most recent cookbook, Sara Foster’s Casual Cooking.  In summer 2007, Mission sponsored an extension of Foster’s book tour in select markets (Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Chicago and Philadelphia).  The 2007 alliance between Mission Foods and Foster embraces a common mission to provide busy families with simple, yet creative, meal ideas and exemplifies the innovative thinking that is at the heart of Mission’s culture. This partnership offers a unique opportunity to enhance the Mission brand, while encouraging new and inventive uses for its extensive line of flour tortillas. 

Foster is one of the country’s most beloved and respected experts on simple, honest food. She has authored three cookbooks and has appeared on the Today Show and From Martha’s Kitchen.  A contributing editor to Cottage Living, Foster also has been featured in such publications as the New York Times, Bon Appetit and Martha Stewart Living.
