½ lb. Ground pork
½ lb. Ground beef
1 tbsp. Italian seasoning
1 tsp. Salt
¼ tsp. Pepper
2 tbsp. Garlic butter
2 Mission® Soft Taco Carb Balance® Tortillas
2 tbsp. Dehydrated onions
8 tsp. Mozzarella, shredded
8 tsp. Marinara sauce, warmed
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Spread garlic butter on one side of each tortilla, sprinkle with onions, and cut out 2 ¼” circles from the tortillas, yielding 8 rounds per tortilla. Place the round on a non-stick baking sheet and bake for 5-6 minutes or until lightly crisp. Reserve.
Combine ground pork and beef with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Stir to incorporate. Form 8 small patties, using a ¼ cup measure to help portion the meat. Cook over medium heat in a sauté pan for 5-7 minutes per side, until cooked through, or a minimum internal temperature of 160°F has been reached.
To assemble sliders, place the burger patties on top of 8 toasted tortilla rounds, and top with 1 tsp. mozzarella, and 1 tsp. marinara. Top with a second tortilla crisp and serve two per person.
